MPC X Data Dial - HELP

Hi,
Sorry if this is a stupid question but how do you remove the data dial on the MPC X?
I've tried gently pulling on it but it doesn't come off, so I thought id check before getting too physical with it, in case there was more too it.

You gotta tear everything down, from the Bottom. Lift one of the Biggest Boards inside lol.
