Lesson on MPC Live 2

Hi im having a lot of trouble getting started on my mcc live 2 and YouTube isn't doing it for me. Would anyone be able too do a call maybe an hour too go through the basics. I'm down too py 20 for the hour.

Are you having trouble getting started because you've never used an MPC before? Maybe try the getting started series featuring the MPC One, as that series will literally bring you from start-to-finish with making your first beat. The MPC One, MPC Live 2, and X are actually the exact same OS just in different machine packages. Follow along on your MPC to these tutorial series.

And ignore the genre of music featured in all of these videos. It doesn't matter if it's not your thing - the best practices, techniques, and music theory will translate to virtually any genre.

To save an individual sample after editing:
1.Go to MAIN screen
2. Select "Edit Samples" in the Drum Program section
3. On the PROGRAM tab, select the sample you want to save
4. On the MAIN screen, click on the pencil icon in the Drum Program section
5. Select "Save Current Sample'
6. In the Save screen, select the destination you want to save the sample to
7. Press save
8. Go back and unselect the sample from the lit pad in the "Edit Samples" section, then reselect it in the "TRIM" section
