It might be just 1 file on that zip also, I've had that happen before so I did what B is saying and dragged them over one by one until I found my offending file. replaced it with the original and finished dragging the others onto the pc. I re-formatted my zip disc, put all the files back and everything was normal again. but from then on now and again I would make a full copy of all my zip discs (the ones that I was using frequently) on my pc .

If you have the cables to connect it to your computer, go to the IOMEGA website and download whatever driver you need.

yea i did that but pc wont still recognize mt zip drive..im not not sure if i got it connec right...i got it coneected to the printer port then to the zip drive...it won detect though...AAAAGHH!..i went under the search and i think might have the C>O>D!!!!!!!click of death...cause my scsis was make that clickin sound itt was like CLICK CLICK CLICK than it will say disk read error but then i ll insert a blank sip disk then my mpc will say scsi not ready but at my boys stu it was sayin SCSI ERROR ON DRIVE #..then so he was like let me load the zip in to my pc then the zip drive was make a click sound and then it will say DISK READ ERROR... :( SO NOW IM ASSS ED OUT>>is there a way i can fix this problem or some how recover my beats???

Get a new zip drive, download the software for the zip drive from the manufacters website. Install it on your pc, pop in disk and see what happens. Hopefully they will still be on the disk.

yeah thats what i would do- dont worry about the mpc not reading it at the mo- concentrate on getting your pc to read- if you can get that working you can save your stuff-

i personally burn all my progs to cd if im worrried about them for backup..

...oh my God!...the same thing happened to me just last friday...DMONEY...so you and i both are in the same situation...i had this thought to give up too...but this brother i know called me and i told him and he said if i quit he would be hurt, as if i'm al'lat on the beats...man i aint tryin' to be for responsible for that...he told me the story of how Q-Tip's house caught on fire and he lost a lot records...he said he was gonna quit...i said that's funny cause days before i heard on Rap City that he just got signed to Motown...man Chirst has called me to influence people with my music, and if i quit...man i aint tryin' to have that...i aint gettin' all "religous" on you or nothin', but trust me, i understand how you feel...but yeah man do what these guys are tellin' you...they're professionals...they don't know it, but they are helpin' me out a lot too...
