I got Joyoshare VidiKit these days. It has a screen recording utility that supports many audio formats and other basic editing features. Maybe it can help you.

Me2. I run it thru my Steinberg soundcard into my Yamaha mixer to my MPC or FOSTEX. Some basic EQ goes a long way . . .

So nobody uses an app? I guess you could hold a microphone close to your phone or laptop, run it through a Neve console to a reel to reel recorder.

I use VLC. Not free but no bloatware. Records, loops sections, changes speed, converts any format to wav files or whatever.
