Sync loops to tempo

Two questions. Very frustrated after months of using this thing.

I cannot figure out how to sync a loop to tempo. I have a track and want to add a loop. Cannot figure it out.

Also When I slice, sometimes it adds tons of markers in a very weird way. It’ll put markers on top of each other and won’t even get close to threshold. Seems like a bug but I don’t know.

I’ve read the manual and Bible and still can’t figure out something that seems like it should be pretty simple. Ahhhh

I just went through chapter 14 of the bible myself the other day, which deals with exactly how to sync loops to a target BPM either by tuning the sample or through time stretching. The "From BPM" button on the trim screen of the Sample Editor will reveal the options for syncing through tuning, though it's not obvious (to me) how to use it without documentation. Process -> Time Stretch from the trim screen of the Sample Editor will reveal the options for syncing through time stretching. Chapter 14, specifically pages 351-356 will get you there.

Yeah it’s just never quite on beat and when you add it to a current song it’s always a little off. The kick won’t be right on the beat

You may have Truncate the Loop a lil bit to get it to match properly
