Filter/EQ on EB16 for reg. 2k

Is it my card or does everyone's filter/EQ not really do sh!t ? All of the other effects work perfectly . But even if I add a +12 db change to a sound the difference is almost non-existant .

Try changing each and every value and listening to the differences.

I thought the same thing too when I first got mines but it works- very well.
Make sure you have the pad assigned to M1 or M2, use the jog wheel to raise the effect levels and make sure the Filter is "ON" for M1 or M2 in the Efx edit screen. You can also go into the "MIX" screen and bump the levels to 99 where is says "EQ" (I think) . You will really hear it's effectiveness. You may have to lower the actual volume of the sample in the mixer screen but you will be able to hear the EQ effect.

Each effect has a MIXER button at the bottom as well.

Be sure I was thorough w/ my screens before asking for assistance . Tried all of that . When I go to the the main mix box in the FXedit screen and turn everything else to 0 and turn the Dist/EQ up to 99 (after turning it up in the FILT box) all I hear is a slight change or a faint whisper of the original sample when I turn the direct signal off . Maybe it could be the patch setting ?
