Anyone had any issues with their mpc lives encoder knob?

I'm just curious because it just feels cheap is all. Especially compared to the MPCX.
I heard a couple people in the past having skipping issues with it. I was just curious if anyone else has had any issues and if so did they contact akai or fix themselves.

How would a guitar pot knob have any impact whatsoever on the functionality of a rotary encoder it was fastened to?

Be grateful its not the S2400 encoder.

the functionality is fine. Its more or less the fact it feels like the cheapest thing on the live. It doesnt feel good to use not like the X's encoder.
The encoder he sent me will not solve the issue because im assuming its the pot. It is what it is i guess. Everyones got a wobbly encoder on there lives and force's.
I just heard of someone awhile back having issues and talking about sending it in to get fixed and i was curious if anyone had that issue. I guess people are thinking its the actually knob and not the pot but the pot seems to be the reason it is how it is.

My bad. I need to read more carefully next time. I’ve just talked to a lot of people having same issues with the knob falling off etc that I assumed that was the issue. Hope you figure it out

The aluminum knobs look cool, but if the wobble annoys you with the stock plastic jog wheel, you’ll hate it even more with a heavier aluminum knob on it. Makes feel even more wobbly since it’s got more weight to it and moves the shaft of the potentiometer more easily. Feels great spinning it tho. A lot more robust. But that wobble tho….

I got the metal encoder from mpc stuff its alright bitter then the plastic stock one but still not satisfied but it will do
