Free-Running LFO?

Is there actually a free-running LFO in MPC Live 2 program say for modulating pitch?

Everytime I turn sync to off, the LFO still resets to any pad trigger. How do I get it actually free-running?

Has anyone seen Akai address this?
I've read a few posts where people have said they're working on it but I haven't seen Akai mention it anywhere.

Even an LFO with a randomised start phase would be nice...

Well the last firmware update was at the end of last year so I think its safe to say its still unaddressed.
