A few questions:

1. Have you ever tampered with or otherwise removed/deleted *ANY* content from the built-in integrated storage?
2. Have you tried resetting it to factory?
3. If the answer to #1 is "yes", then you need to obtain the image file from Akai and do a full factory restoration of the default content. It's a relatively simple and fast process that tends to fix the vast majority of bugginess (usually).
4. If the answer to #1 is "no", then it might still be worth a try.
5. Slightly unrelated: are you using an SD Card or USB stuck (or drive) for additional storage? If you are, make certain you are ejecting your storage in your MPC's browser before removing it from your X, or you will corrupt the drive and cause issues.

Yup, I have the same thing. When the MPC X has gone into sleep mode, usually (but not always) when I resume, the sound is gone. I have to restart it to get it back (and mostly the laptop MPC Software as well.
It seems to be related to the Preferences/Device [Akai Pro MPC X ASIO]. That cannot connect anymore after a resume and gives an error.

I did not tamper with any of the memory settings or alike and reloading the software doesn't help.

Anyone an idea on how to solve this?
