Loading an .xpm doesn't always load the pad assignments

Yo. I have the Live II, 2.7.1. I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug, or something specific I'm doing wrong. I've looked through the manual to no avail. This is my process for loading a kit:

Make sure I'm in drum track mode, Shift + menu to browse, find a kit (ac tight, for example), press the data dial. Sometimes the kit loads correctly, with all the pad assignments and pad muting/hat chokes intact, and sometimes it just loads the samples and drops them in the pool without loading the assignments. I can't find any pattern to this behavior and it's driving me nuts! Am I doing something wrong, or is it a bug?

I‘d bet the first program you load is fine. All others after that aren‘t. You need to assign programs to tracks after loading, only first track selected will load as you might expect.

If you first select an unused track, then the program will be assigned to that track when you load it.

Coming back to the thread, I think this may also be a bug, as well as something I was doing wrong at first. Sometimes I'll encounter the same problem, but after a restart, my program is right where it should be.
