Note Repeat 1/4 ?

This is probably an easy question for some, I am sure I am missing something simple:

I can't find how to set Note Repeat to 1/4. When I press and hold Note Repeat, the left most button on the bottom of the screen is 1/8 and then it goes 1/16, 1/32, T, ARP.

How do I set what options are available when I press Note Repeat?

Think that you can go into the ARP menu, and you get access to 1/4 there.. And then you can just leave the ARP menu and it will stay at 1/4 until you change it to something else.

Can't quite remember clearly, but I think it USED to be available on the main screen ages ago.

The ARP option is available for MIDI track (but not drum/pad track). I can set it through there but option does not appear to be available to store in the short-cut menus (I am likely to use this option often for MIDI tracks)

ARP menu is not available for drum track, but that already has 1/4 (a little inconsistent - not sure why)

Yeah it will stay 1/4 if you move to a drum track after you have set it up on some midi or keygroup track..

But I think it used to be available as a shortcut, but that they made space for something else, perhaps the ARP shortcut took up that space..

Although they could just have compressed the sizes of those boxes a bit and still fit the 1/4 as well.
Anyway, usually if I want 1/4 that's not as part of an arp and can't be bothered jumping in around in menus, I just use 1/8ths and do halftime patterns.

It would be sweet if the arp was available for regular drum programs though, because there's some nice things that can be done with arps playing drum hits.. For example, you can set up a program to have loads of different closed hihats, and then let the ARP jam out variations depending on what pads you play.. So you could just hold a pad and it would create different kinds of rolls..

You can sort of mimic this using the cycle feature and let a pad play through its different layers, but it is very limited... And you could use a keygroup as a drum program.. But it's unnecessary workarounds that shouldn't be there in the first place.
