Connection Issue while in Controller mode

Hi guys
I have an issue with my MPC X in controller mode. I like to work on my MPC only, without touching my Macbook Pro while in controller mode. So naturally from time to time, my Macbook turns off the display (because I dont touch the Computer) and then my mpc disconnects or shows the following error:

"Connection Issue, there was an error connecting to the MPC X. Please switch your MPC off and on again."


Can anybody please tell me how to prevent this?

- prevent your mac to automatically shut display .
rightclick on battery icon . open the preferences and set it to a longer value .

-then dim off your lcd screen light using functions key ... you will quickly manually sreen-save your mbp

I use an app called Jolt (available in App Store). This lets you deactivate the screensaver while Jolt is active and can be set to several hours or until deactivated. Check it out!
