Can MPC Live battery be replaced easily

Had the MPC Live since 2017; suddenly this year the battery seems to have died; so can only use the live on mains, the yellow charging light no longer comes on when the mains are connected.

No idea unfortunately. It’s probably reasonably straightforward, but there’s no guarantees.

I generally avoid buying anything with a non-user replaceable battery for this precise reason.

At mpcstuff you can get a new battery for your live. Looks pretty plug and play, no soldering needed..

It's a tough one, not sure what the resale value is of an mpc live with no working battery, but would anyone want to buy it other than for 'spares or not working'? It might actually work out cheaper to replace the battery and then sell it.

BTW, I think that battery on MPCstuff is an Akai official part, not one of MPCstuff's in-house replacements, so the price is pretty much set by Akai.
