Touch Screen Problems (pressing itself)

Hey

Got a new X on Saturday and now it’s playing games. Like it’s pressing buttons on the screen itself, buttons aren’t stuck down, it’s on standalone mode (it’s done it a couple times in Controller mode too)

but it seems you want to return it and get your self a different mpc X might be faulty

Its a bad touch controller. Seen it plenty at work (I work for one of the big display manufacturers). Gonna need warranty service or a replacement.

Got it being replaced now

I recently purchased an MPC Live 2 Retro, and noticed that it kept freezing and other things. My initial thought was that the hard drive (Samsung 1TB SSD) was the problem, but it turns out that I was getting interference from my PLASMA BALL. Yes that's right, my plasma ball! These things radiate high voltages that affect touch screen and capacitive components. Once I disconnected the plasma ball and moved it away, the problems instantly went away. I don't know if this is your situation, but it definitely fixed mine. If you can bump this message, or somehow tag it to other instances, please do so as I am new here.
