Here's an example of a card reader, it replaces the floppy.

Installed hard drive. It's in the bottom left corner.

The flash rom would normally go in the bottom left corner were the HD is in the above image. But that's not really a good storage device for your beats, only 8megs.

i mean floppy are cool but they dont hold alot of memory compared to the zip..YOU FEEL ME...did u call IOMEGA TO TRY RECOVER UR SHET?

By Doron Wed Feb 02, 2005 8:06 pm
i know...but think about it...take one beat that you got...you probably can save your beat on one or at least two floppys at the most...after what happened to me i'd rather have 100 floppys that are more likely reliable than zips than have all my stuff on one zip, though it holds a lot, but have that same zip trip and all my stuff gone...hear me...i didn't call IM...did you click on that link that cypher posted...good info...i think i'm goin' to find somebody with a computer with a scsi port and rock the Lamp- procedure...word

You can do the same thing with external zips. I have one hooked to the MPC and on to my computer. I save file back and forth to back up. Simple to hook the external to the computer, just plug it in the USB slot and download any drivers from the IOMEGA site.

good lookin'...thing is i don't have a computer...and my external scsi zip is a parallel...so i'm going to have to find someone that has a computer that has a scsi port...and try that...but man the way you're doin' is the efficient way...
