Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to keep the pad clip playing when I switch to another sequence?
I'm under MPC software 2.6.0 and MPC firmware 2.6.0.16 (v1.11).

I will describe the situation to you: I have a Track Clip track in which I have placed some audio samples on 4 pad. I trigger and stop directly via the pads. But when I want to go to the next sequence to advance in the progress of the song or live set, the clips stop. I would like these samples to continue playing from one sequence to another (automatically, without me intervening). Is it possible ?

AFAIK it is not possible unfortunately. Upgrading to a newer OS won't change anything. The fact that clips stop playing when using next sequence is a known issue. The alternative is to ditch the MPC and get a Force.

This clearly sucks but staying solution oriented . . . . .

If you record everything to clips & arrange it, you can always “freestyle” the pad clips. Save the sequences for the complicated beats that you can’t possibly freestyle. PAD Freestyle the transitions between the sequenced beats.

Far from ideal, this is a major selling point for the AK force . . . .
