Can you create multiple programs from one sample so they work independent from one another? So basically, I chopped a sample in 16 regions and converted that to a program; now I would like to chop the same sample in 32 regions. If I do this will it have any affect on the programs I already created from the same sample?
Thanks for the knowledge

Convert using pad parameters (new drum program using slices > pad parameters). After conversion the regions you exported to the program are unique to that program (as they are stored as pad params). IF you then go back to the program and slice with different regions, then the new program will not affect the existing program.
Or extract using 'new program new samples' for a destructive chop. You can chop the original sample as many times as you wish, the exported samples are independant.
The only one to avoid is 'non destructive slice' as this is tied in with the original sample. But you can of course make a copy of the original sample and chop each one differently. There's loads of ways you can approach this.
