Dope update, found a nasty bug already though.

I noticed that instant track mute is causing issues within some of my tracks for some reason, even on older beats.

The odd thing is that although these tracks don’t seem to be receiving any track mute messages, the events are being sporadically muted by some diabolical force. So for example, I have a sequence of chops playing out, which have no track mute automation on them, but the pads abruptly cut off seemingly randomly throughout the length of the track. I check for any track mute automation (even pad mute, or any other type of automation for that matter), but nothing is found to be programmed. The pads still make sound themselves just fine, however when sequenced, the track doesn’t play them as intended (random muting)

If I turn instant track mute off in preferences, the events play out as usual (without actually instantly muting, of course).

Anyone else experiencing this strange behavior?

Props to Akai for fixing the original “track mute bug”, however

Upon further investigation, it seems like pads on the same program are cutting each other, even though the pads are played on separate tracks. For example, i have two separate pads on the same program, which is set to mono polyphony. One track has one pad sequenced, and the other track has the other pad sequenced. Even if the second track is muted, the other pad on track one gets muted by the other during playback. Strangely enough, turning instant track mute off in preferences allows the pads to not mute each other (but I don’t see how that relation makes sense). What I know for sure is this is not how it behaved prior to 2.10.

This is confusing. Just babbling at this point, but I’m trying to explain anything that could be of help.

Same issue for me, turning instant mute off did the trick, thanks @RedW6lf you made my day.
As always, Akai won't probably ever fix it, just like the play pad on a muted track issue.
