I think most have a short list that would satisfy them. Problem is everyone's short list is different.

Thanks! So I guess any where on the SSD. Cool. Hopefully Akai addresses the missing folder message despite it being present.

No not anywhere, top level. Root.

Mine hasnt arrived yet, but does that mean I can link it with my pc in a similar way like I can do with my 2500? Not sure what controller mode means...

Yes, exactly that - just connect your MPC to your computer via USB and in the MPC select 'controller mode' and any disk attached to the MPC will appear as a removable drive in your computer.

Beyond that though controller mode is when you use your MPC to 'control' the MPC Software app on your computer.

Wow that's great. That's the only thing that made the live 2 somewhat more attractive to me. But since thats solved I'm extra happy I preordered the One Retro.

Class compliant USB microphones confirmed.

This is a pretty amazing update! USB Audio FTW!

I don’t have one here to test it, can anyone confirm if you’re able to rename the inputs/outputs like you can with USB-MIDI interfaces?

I missed the last update.

Seems pretty cool and everyone seems happy. Anyone know if we're still stuck with the Q-Link overaly?

I was about to buy one , but if there is no way to monitor I don't think it's usable

Most usb mics these days have zero latency monitoring built in, just use the mic's 3.5mm headphone port.

I don't have a usb mic so cannot test any models myself.

I've been testing for a few hours and they haven't blocked yet.

I've noticed that I can no longer bounce to audio, from a plugin.

Granted, I generally use my mpc with just samples and not the plugins, so this may have changed some time ago, or I may be doing something wrong.

Is this a new thing or is there an extra step I'm missing?

I also experienced my fist crash last night - ever.

Went to set up some send fx and blank screen, resulting in having to reboot. The track I was working on had completely disappeared (despite saving before thr crash). I was testing out some of the new toys so it was just a demo track.

Nice, thanks. I'm just taking a look at it now and there's an option to disable/enable the overlay when you hold down the Q-link button.

"Show Q-Link Status When Touched"

Maybe thats been here since the last update but I didn't get on that one.

Yes that was added in a previous release.
