Edit .big files? (sample data used in 2.10 plugs)

The new firmware 2.10 plugs use that "Synths" folder, which is filled with .big files. I presume these contain sample data for the synth voicing. Would be cool to edit that data, right? Anyone know how to explode a .big? It seems to be a file type used in gaming.

You can preview as a compressed file but you can't actually open the sample data files
