RE: 2.10 - CC Audio Interface - Can't use Live II speaker?

So I've connected my Audient EVO 4 to my Live II, and it shows up in the Audio settings, and I'm getting a signal.

But it seems that im obliged to use the stereo outs on the EVO.. cannot choose the LIVE speaker, when using a CCAI?

Can anyone confirm the same experience?

That's a major oversight.

The attached audio interface is going to take over all audio duties in your MPC. I believe this is some kind of Linux limitation and is quite difficult to change, so I don't think we're going to get a set up like we have in the MPC Software where we can route incoming to one device and outgoing to another.

It’s not too big an issue, because I’d only need, honestly, the interface for the purposes of recording w/ my mic & phantom power, which I couldn’t really do with anything but headphones, anyway. Thanks for the quick insight!

It's not a Linux limitation ,there are tools for using multiple interfaces , audio/midi over network etc ... but it will cause additional buffering/resampling causing latency and subtle quality decrease

In MPC One, after connecting the Tascam DR-07X recorder (as a USB interface), audio out and headphones out do not work. So it's useless to me.

You can plug your headphones into the Tascam instead.
