MPC One & CV No audio

Hi! I'm fairly new to the Akai world, I've had my MPC One for a few months now and getting to know it pretty well. I recently bought a Moog Werkstatt and I got it working with my Keystep pro so I decided I could try and use the CV inputs on the MPC and create some samples for beats. I did some research and watched some videos, it looks hooked up properly but I'm not getting any audio. The MPC One looks like its registering hits on the pad and but no audio is coming out the headphones. Am I missing something in this setup? The track isn't muted either. Any help would really appreciated! Thanks!

These are CV outputs on the MPC. So to hear audio from the Moog synthesizer, you need to either plug your headphones on the Moog directly, or plug the audio output of the Moog into the audio input of the MPC and monitor the incoming signal. The CV outputs on the MPC can't possibly transmit audio from an external device to the MPC magically. Audio is audio, CV is CV, and MIDI is MIDI, 3 different unrelated things.

So no, things are not hooked up properly to begin with.

Technically voltage is voltage (i.e. 'CV' could be 'audio' and vice versa) in the modular synth domain but in this case think of the CV implementation on the MPC as midi only.

Thanks! I was getting confused the way certain modular synths were setup compared to this. I was able to get it to work now. I plugged my headphones in the werkstat and got audio. I also took my quarter inch to my MPC One input to be able to sample it and it worked perfectly. I'll continue to do research to expand on this but this solved my problem of not hearing audio! I understand better how the CV works on the MPC One now, thanks so much for the comments!
