Im have an issue when bouncing final mix from the soundcraft mtk 22 mixer. So with the new MPC 2.10 update you can use the soundcraft mixer to send a stem mix back in the MPC live via USB return. So when I do this final stereo bounce I get some horrible pops & clicks in the mix. Ive been advised to change the sample rate, which i did to 24bit, I tried again, and im still getting popping & clicking sound in the bounce. Can someone advise me on what to do, and has anyone experienced this problem with the 2.10 update. Im new to this forum. Can I get any advice on what to do Thanks

I’ve been struggling with the same issue. It’s an issue with sample rate, not bit depth.

The MTK can operate at 44.1k or 48k and is supposed to sync up to the host. For some reason the soundcraft doesn’t sync up to the 44.1k of the mpc and operates at 48k instead. Hence the noise, pops, dropouts etc.

As far as I can tell we’re screwed until akai gives us 48k sample rate in an update.

If anyone else has a solution please let me know

The guys over at soundcraft support page on fbook suggested changing the audio to 44.1 in the setup on the pc/Mac in the settings then take out the cable from the pc/Mac and plug it into the mpc. Not tried this yet but I’m eager to know too. The other solution that was suggested was to buy a high spec usb cable such as the audio quest cinnamon. Apparently this works wonders for sound quality. It’s a bit expensive £65 so not sure I want to try it but I’m willing to spend it if it works. Also poli popo has a soundcraft mtk22 on YouTube and he seems to have fixed it or not encountered any issues that I can tell. There must be a fix
