Any Way to Retrieve Serial for MPC Essentials?

I own an MPD218 controller which gave me MPC Essentials.

I used MPCE as a VST in a few projects a couple years ago and was trying to open them the other day, realized I no longer had MPCE installed, installed it, it asked for a serial, so I logged into my Akai account to retrieve it, but saw that MPC Essentials has been superceded by MPC Beats and there is no sign of MPCE, which also means it doesn't list my serial for it.

I tried emailing Akai, but haven't heard back yet (maybe because it's the weekend). So, I wanted to check here to see if anyone knows a solution or can help me in some way.

Do you realise that MPC beats is free and significantly better than essentials? It's the same as the full version of the MPC software just with less tracks (8 I think) and some missing plugins. Essentials was based on MPC 1.8 and only had one track.
