Mpc one plug in volume issues

Hi, I’m new to the forum and hope I can get some help with a problem I can’t figure out, when I’m switching between sequences sometimes the volume of a plug in increases much more than it is set at, and if I manually adjust it, it returns to the proper volume, anyone have this problem before, and know how to fix it? Hopefully I explained it well enough, thanks
