Hello!

I acquired a Force recently to use while playing electric piano. While playing, I need to be able to use a foot pedal. I have a Nektar Pacer, which is pretty flexible in terms of being able to send program change messages, note messages, CC...whatever.

I can't seem to figure out how to program the Force to respond to incoming MIDI messages. The only thing that works is MMC machine control, just start and stop.

Does anyone know if there's anyway to set this up? Is it an NRPN thing?

Thanks!

You have to fiddle with the settings a bit. Shift-clip on a MIDI track will let you set the MIDI parameters on the track, then make sure that you have the right input data.

I know this is a very old post but I thought I'd see if the OP is still around. I'm looking at the Pacer but for for record/play/stop functions (overdub would be nice, too). Were you ever able to get yours to work beyond just play and stop?
