MPC One, how to solve the voltage problem.

Not sure what you're trying to demonstrate in your video, but if you have old home power wiring that is unreliable and causes voltage spikes, then you need to buy a line conditioner. Most come with built-in surge protection as well, so that's nice.

If your home wiring causes random power loss, then sure - a battery backup or UPS would help in the event of a sudden power loss.

If you have issues with both voltage spikes/drops and power loss, then you should buy both.

Is the phono ground shocking you? I don't get it. Is your outlet grounded?

Thats not the phono ground, it's the cable strain relief, isn't it? I've got a Live but I'm pretty sure thats what it is. Maybe it's grounded but the multimeter is just measuring his body voltage. But I don't understand what thats got to do with anything, or what the problem is that he's asking about.

I also noticed that touching this screw or touching the qlinks causes the problem that the overlay won't go away. It's good to know the reason after all.
When I put my shoes on, the problem disappears

Though I strongly encourage you to hire a licensed electrician to fix your issue.

it might be possible some prick installed a counterfeit ground on the receptacle to pass inspection.. because chances are you don't have them grounded with that old wiring and they didn't want to pass new wire or fix the issue... also, you are using the meter in DC. if you are getting zapped when touching the mpc, maybe try again wearing shoes?

Whether he has a ground wire in his house or not (and you definitely should get one if you don't) I'm not sure that's causing his issue. Ground comes in to play when something shorts and the neutrons start looking for a quick way home. I don't have the MPC One, but if I take a reading from the screw-clamp on the back of my MPC Live, to an earth point in my mains system, I read 4v. A reading between that screw and me, if I take my shoes off and stand on my wooden floor is 1v. A lot of audio equipment has a common ground to chassis point, and that screw is part of your chassis.

Your Q-link issue might even be something like static... Are you shuffling around barefoot on a cheap nylon carpet? Have you tried to recreate your issue in a different room? What about a different house/building?

Maybe you've got a wacky AC voltage coming in to your mains board...who knows. As already stated though, if you don't have the right equipment, or know what you're doing, leave it alone. And cheap volt-meters aren't suitable for high voltages.
