Finally i know why i only got spaghetti when trying to import a midi file that i exported from Maschine. The note allocation of the mpc pads is bonkers. For example:

Pad nr1 is C#1
Pad nr2 is C1

This can`t be right or was it always like this?

And i assume there is no way to change the order?

On picture number 1 you can see the midi file after import in the midi section. The (keyboard) layout is correct, the kick is on C1.When i switch to pad/drumsampler mode (pic 2) the kick becomes pad 2 but of course in the associated drumkit it still sits on what is supposed to be C1.
