Mixer Setup

I have this mixer and I was wondering if I would be able to hook up all 8 outs and be able to sample from my computer into my mpc all on this mixer. I still haven't figured out how I would use the 5/6 channels like that. Any info would help.

Thats a nice invention that pitty it dont let you track out all of them channels to the pc...anyway....

IF!! your mixer has a AUX OUT facillty then what you can do is have channels 1-8 for you mpc, 9-10 for your PC 11-12 (MPC STEREO L/R??)
Have the Aux 1/2 Running into the REC L/R of the MPC then on the Mixer
route what ever channel, which would be 9-10. then this will send any pc signal to the MPC.
If u do have MPC on 11/12 then remember to mute this when sampling cause you will get feedback.

Thanks for the info, the manual is only 16+ pages that's why I asked the question. Good Looking though I'll have to try that out when I get my 8 outs. East Ova...

You can do it, but there is really no reason to have your 8-outs plugged in all the time. If you have enough channels then it's fine buy you only really need the outs for mixing down tracks. I have mine set up like this:

1 & 2 - Turntables
3 & 4 - MPC
5 - CD Player

My other channels are open.

When I need to mix a track down, I unplug all of that, and put the outs in channels 1-8.

it all depends on how you work...there is no right or wrong.
