Missing files in shared project

Heya gang, so I want to share a project, but when someone else tries to loads they get a missing files dialogue, I can't work this out b cause the project loads fine for me and I've even taken the project off my sd card and loaded it inside of the MPC software okay, I can't work out what's going on, all I can think of is that maybe I've used a sound from an expansion that they don't have but I thought when a project is saved that all samples and sound sources were duplicated into the project files..

Anyone have any experience of this?

All files are saved locally into the project, it is a complete set of information. Are you both on the same version of MPC Firmware/Software?

Thanks for the reply fella all sorted, I was syncing the project folder directly to Google drive, for some reason this must have been corrupting the project, rarred it up and sent it and everything works.. go figure..

Yes, the cause is in the fact that Google Drive alters filenames for specific characters. MPC projects often contain file names with '&'...and there you go; that's the cause.

The workaround is indeed to zip/RAR the project and there you go.
