Is there anyway to use track mute but with audio?
I know I can just mute the audio but I’d rather do it in a similar way to how track mute works.

Nope.
That's the main issue with audio tracks.
You can assign the volume of audiotracks to qlinks to fade them out fast.
You can also route the output of audio tracks to a subgroup and assign a qlink to subgroup volume so you can fade out all tracks at the same time.
I think that putting audio tracks as an option between midi tracks, keygroups, plugins etc on main, would be a good solution so they can be muted on track mute.
Same for looper.

Not at the MPC right now but when you scroll through the mixer options (channel, sends, subs etc) isn’t there a dedicated audio track mixer page which gives solo and mute options? So when you have the MUTE tab selected you can mute them with the pads as in the track mute page…

Yeah but these are unquantized mutes and it's a pain when playing live to enter channel mixer, scroll to search audio tracks, pinch this small box.
Very uncomfortable.

AUDIO TRACKS – NOT quite what we wanted from AKAI but here to stay ;-)
