Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I have recently started timestreching my samples in Acid and then exporting them and loading them up into my MPC because I like the timestreching on Acid...

I'll set the tempo on Acid to the exact same tempo as on the MPC....then chop the break and load it into say 4 seperate pads on the MPC....

When I play them back on the MPC each sample falls just short of the end of the bar....so there is a gap between the sample on Pad A and the sample on Pad B.

Its really confusing me because if I play the MPC the same time as Acid each sample fits in crisply and the samples play back to back continuously with no gaps....so why is it when they are exported they dont fit in??

Any ideas anyone??

This came up before in another post while back, try doing a search on it..
however what i remember was the MPC was not reading all of the file so you had to leave a little left on the sample in order for it to work i think.
anyway when stuff like that happens I just tune it down a few notches to make it fit or speed up the tempo. as long as that same desired feel is there then it should not be a problem.
