16 levels and Attack ?

Is there an OS version where you can have attack or decay on 16 levels
like the mpc2kxl, i know i can use the Q link but it's not the same...

use the 16 levels button left to the pads. choose velocity and the pad you want to play. (upgrade to 1.70)

Im not sure i understand, if i get os 1.70 i can use attack or decay on 16 levels?, and why do i need to choose velocity?

I have os 1.60 and can only choose tuning or velocity but if i get the latest os i will be able to get attack or decay on 16 levels right?

take 16 levels of velocity - go into program mode - open up mod matrix - set up velocity (or tilt velo - source1 and 2) to attack (dest 1) or/and decay (dest 2) - set the depth levels as you like - go back to 16 levels see how velocity affects attack and decay - go back to mod matrix - reset the levels and so on ... have fun ... hth
