Mac live downgrade firmware sound problems

updated firmware from 2.06 to newest version. didn't like so downgraded back to 2.06 but now when I load certain projects there is no sound. the samples are in sample edit but no sound when I hit the pads in program edit or main screen. the pads light up when I press play and the sequence information is still there. the grid shows where the pad hits are but no sound. really annoying. I lost a beat once before upgrading and reverting back to older firmware.

There is absolutely no reason to be using 2.0.6, nothing whatsoever. If you don't like 2.10, go for 2.9.1, or 2.8.

If the “certain projects” that you load which are giving you issues were created with a newer version of the firmware that might be why you’re having issues with those projects. Stuff made on newer firmware most likely isn’t backwards compatible with older firmware, especially that old of a firmware.

2.06 works best for me. All beats made on 2.06. Its when i upgrade try it dont like it and revert back that the problems start.

Sometimes, when I load very big projects, the sound does not play. I see the pads are triggeed in the sequencer and I can trigger the pads by hand, but no sound. I have to load another project via the file browser and then I have to load the dead project via file browser again and then it works. Sometimes I have to repeat it 2-3 times, but it works, maybe you can try this method also..
