MPC One - Sampling from iPhone - no audio

Hi everyone,

hoping someone can help with a sampling issue I'm having. I'm using my iPhone connected to the audio input on the right of the MPC, two quarter inch jacks and audio cables, then on the end I've an AUX to iPhone adapter.

I'm getting minimal signal reading and 0 audio coming through, I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong but if anyone has any help it would be greatly appreciated.

Increase the volume of your iPhone and the recording volume (the knob on the back of the unit) on MPC. Then turn the Monitor to "IN" in the Sampler.
