Transport Controls not working in controller mode w Ableton

My MPC live ii transport used to control Ableton just fine in controller mode. Now after updating to 2.10 I can’t use the transport controls on the Live ii to start the Ableton sequencer. Looks like the info page on the Akai website hasn’t been updated since 2.7. I’ve tried messing around with all the different combos in Ableton's preferences, for both controller surface and in/out combos, and nothing has worked (akai force mpc, mpc live ii public/midi1/midi2).

Same here.. Messed around with different midi port configurations on both Ableton and in the MPC preferences.. Im mostly standalone but recently been taking advantage if the MPCs 32in/out (via usb) with my Soundtoys fx. It just really throws me off when I'm forced to use the Ableton transport controls. I remember this being possible..
