Muted channels without muting them (mpc one os 2.10)

Hello everyone,

I got a weird problem that I can't seem to solve. A week ago I made a beat, which I saved. It wasn't anything too complicated, just a two bar loop.

Track 1: sample
Track 2: kick
Track 3: snare
Track 4: hihat
Track 5: bass synth (internal instrument)

Now when I loaded it up last night I only heard track 1. This track wasn't in solo mode, nor were track 2-5 muted. I checked if any notes had disappeared, but this wasn't the case. When I solo'ed track 2-5 however, I did hear the kick, snare, hihat and bass line. Muting track 1 didn't seem to make the other sounds audible. So I went to the internal mixer and also there I didnt see anything weird. I'm really confused about what's going on.

Does anybody over here got a clue whats going on and how I can solve this?

Check the track view, and look for the button that says "auto, in, merge" on those tracks and make sure its set to auto. It easy to overlook.

lol i make that same problem for myself quite a bit, i also have a habit of disabling record arm and then scratching my head over why i cant record to a track.

I love this forum I've learned so much being here. I probably check this website as much a the regular joe checks facebook.
