Midi note numbers not staying the same when assigned

Whenever I assign note numbers to drum pads they never stay the same and it takes multi tries at getting these numbers to stay where you assign them.

For example:- You put pad A01 to be note C1 then by the time you reach A16 and you hit A01 again it has changed to G#4 or something else and that happens on many of the pads as well not just A01.

Is there some setting that I am missing? or has anyone experienced this problem.

By the way multi crashes when loading samples and pressing the shift button done separately.

The trick is to press the data-wheel and then select the note from the menu instead of just turning the data-wheel to select the note. When you scroll through the notes, a previously selected note can be changed because the software tries to avoid assigning the same notes to different pads.

Hi Hoekschop, thanks for your quick response...I have tried that and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

After many passes through the pads it does stay where you want them long enough to save the program but it is very time consuming.
