Re: I bought one of these td-3's back in the summer and have bearly touched it, but your video's actually interested me in messing with it. I actually hadnt thought of just automating my synths without recording them. That'd let me change all the params on my hw without having to take another snap.

I admit I did little research on the TD3 and then was bummed that there was no midi CC control, and that’s why I ended up doing this.

It's not a very fun device to work with in all fairness. I guess it was 1982... but this could be fun. i could control it via a step seq on a midi track and automate it via audio track and make it like 85% less painful to use.

That's rad. I'll be trying this with the B Pro1. It works with midi tracks too, no notes required, so you could have beat matching modulations going on something you're playing in with keys etc.

Definitely a good trick to have up your sleeve! thx for sharing

Thats a cool technique! I guess you could use it on anything, like having live vocals that glitch out and stuff. Thanks for the tip!
