Hello everyone!

I'm a fingerdrummer/dj/producer based in France.
I use 2 mpc live for my hybrids dj/sets.

Since 2.8, muting a track also mutes the program. This really need to be fixed. I should be able to perform live on the pads even if the track I'm on is muted. As a performer, it's a necessary tool.
Also, the warp algorithm in standalone mode should be the elastique pro. With this algorithm, i can really use this machine live, exporting loops and audios from my DAW, changing their bpm in realtime without worrying about sound quality and annoying aliasing artefacts.

I'm new here, I don't know how this forum works... I just send Akai the same message and they sent me here, so here I am.
Hope someone will listen.

For the curious ones, this is what I do :
I'm an Afro-Electro/Afrotech producer by the way...

Monotremata wrote:Elastique Pro is never going to happen. Akai has already said time and time again there is not enough CPU power in the machine for it. What we've got is the best we're ever going to get.

Damn!! I've never read an official statement from Akai saying that, only users reflecting on this subject, so may be there is a hope for us. May be they can write a similar algorithm using less cpu, or create a standalone dsp , a sort of turbo box you can plug the mpc into by USB to boost the capacity of the machine.... If the do that I'll definitely buy it.
Thanx for listening man

Hey Akai... get your own forum working again. Using a third party enthusiast forum for your support is lame. Might as well point people to reddit or twitter to get help.

Just because we're all happy to help where we can, doesn't mean you should send people here to get free support.

Maybe I'm off my rocker though.

It's weird because Akai & Denon are both inMusic companies... But Denon really listen to the users, their official forum is very interactive and efficient. By example, we requested the implementation of ableton link in the prime series ( prime 2&4, sc5000/6000...) and the deliver in their new update!
Let's go akai!!!!
