MPC LiveII and MCU-01c USB mic

Hello, please tell me why the USB condenser microphone RecordingTools MCU -01c does not work

Because it is USB. The MPC only works with class compliant audio, but it has to be enabled, and then disables it's own inputs and outputs.

You may be able to go into Preferences and enable the USB condenser if it class compliant to record, but then you'll need to switch it back to defaults to use your other inputs/outputs.

The fact is that the other usb microphone works and this one does not even turn on in the settings.
And what does the USB class mean? Isn't it the same for all devices?

It's potentially class compliant as it doesn't need a driver, but the product specs for that mic don't specifically list 'class compliant'. Also Akai have stated that USB mics are not officially supported. I've seen this error reported before and it was a USB mic that caused it.

Because the Recording Tools MCU -01c is not a USB Class Compliant microphone that complies with the Linux implementation that the MPC uses. A USB mic that is USB Class Compliant *AND* has an audio line out (for headphones or some other way to monitor from the mic) is required, and even those aren't officially supported according to Akai. You do understand that any USB Class Compliant interface that you choose to use with your MPC takes over all audio interface duties, right?

Look for USB mics with a headphone output (often advertised with 'zero latency monitoring'), or recorders like the Zoom H1n. Nothing is guaranteed to work though, especially as Akai specifically stated that USB mics were not supported, and many audio interfaces are still experiencing pops and clicks.

Audio interface support is still very much in 'beta' and still needs work to ensure wider support.
