Lol, why on earth "getting rid" the Ren . It still works on a modern x86 PC/laptop
In fact I prefer it over MPC One on desktop
As for Akai ,if they really wanted ,they could either start crowdfunding to work on M1 , or risk some development cost and sell the driver via App Store . Still even if the sales are successful ,Akai looses some profit of the new MPCs sales, since some people won't move to the new line, but Akai will gain reputation

edit: Still Akai must either allow 2.10 to install on older MacOS version or update the REN drivers to the lowest OS version that 2.10 is currently running
