Having the internet to make a financial plunge into a expensive unit that maybe way over some users heads makes buying an MPC less frightening. I suspect a lot of the time, users asking very rudimentary questions are not just asking for informational purposes but as a way to say" hey I'm part of the gang". Prospective buyers, especially those that have never ever touched a piece of musical hardware feel way more comfortable joining the club when they see a active community willing to engage.
Nowadays products live and die from internet chatter or the lack thereof. The more chatter the more developers can judge interest in their product and the more value a product has to prospective buyers. I see it as a win win.
There is a difference between creating redundant noise and contributing,
A vast majority of questions and content can be replaced by a 2 minute process of checking manual and additional 2-10 minutes to fiddle with gear to check if you get it correctly.
I might expect too much, but imagine If 90% of utter basic questions and complaints (resulting in not knowing how to do stuff) would disappear - then the clever and valuable ideas related using MPC would be more prominent and would elevate the arsenal of tips, tricks and workflows we can utilize and that can inspire MPC product people - unless they're not done already by seeing Nth person complaining that they should be able to do XYZ because Ableton does it and/or that they don't know how to load a sound.
I work in software and believe me - having 100th case of a person refusing to do minimal effort of trying to figure out the issue is not a motivation to improve in any way.
Also regarding bugs (which there are of course) - going though a list of "bug" reports that are just basic user errors only slows down the process, wastes time an energy.
Don't get me wrong, YT videos about basics and questions here about them is a good supplement and valuable resource, but not when they repeat the same thing the Nth time.
Three YT examples of what i mean as valuable stuff:
