MPC ONE Kick disappears

Hi,

New MPC user here. So I was cooking this beat, made a sample on the MPC ONE itself and choped it.
I started adding some drums. First kick and snare. Saved it for the day.
Yesterday went back to it and when I added some percussion (just one pad, one sound), the kick disappears, only sounding at the 1st beat.

But in the pads and the grid, you can see the kick is still there.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If anyone could help, I would very much appreciate it.

I was wondering if it had something to do with that.
On the drums I assigned a few sounds to pads. When you do it like that, do I have to set each sound to POLY in the program edit, of each sound?

Also, check for automation on the pad. I’ve definitely recorded automation of me muting a pad and not noticed until this sort of thing happens where you see, but don’t hear the note.

Also check mute groups as certain hits get cancelled out if they play simultaneously and they are in the same mute group..

Alyth this is often not done perfectly, because there seems to be no look-ahead, so there's often like a couple of microseconds of the transients of the sound being canceled out that is still heard whey playing simultaneously...

And whenever I hear that, I check mute groups and turn it off.. Or, if I still actually need it to be in a mute group, I go to delete the sound that is being played at the same time as the sound I intended to hear, at that specific part of the pattern so it no longer cuts out the other sound.
