MPC One + Mackie mixer via USB, internal sounds not audible

Hi,

I have connected my Mackie ProFX30 V3 to my MPC One via USB, it does process the audio from the Mackie but the output from the samples or plug-ins in the MPC are not visible or audible. Any advice/suggestions regarding this? The MPB Bible does not have much on this topic and there is not a lot on Youtube or other online channels.

Just to be clear, are you now monitoring from your Mackie? When you set it up as a USB Audio Interface (assuming it's the sort of Class Compliance that MPC likes), all of your audio inputs and outputs (including headphones) will no longer work on your MPC. You have to use your Mackie for that. Also, your Mackie must run at 44.1 Khz for it to work.

What you're not getting is that if you plug an external audio interface into the MPC, the former takes over and internal MPC inputs or outputs will be disabled. Only the external audio interface will work.
