Hi there!

For a live situation in standalone mode with MPC LIVE II: Is there any chance to trigger pads of a clip-program with a "note on" (or any other Midi-command sent from a programmable pedalboard), so that it behaves the same way as if the real pad on the MPC gets pressed by hand?

The problem I have is: when the controller note-ons are routed via MIDI-In to the tracks, the clip gets started but this does not start the sequence! Therefore any other clip-start is not synced to the beat. But when the first clip of a clip-program gets started by hand, this starts the sequence and the next clips-starts are synced (= after the pad gets pressed the clip waits for the next bar to start).

I tried also to map the controller to the pads with the midi control menu / hardware tab. Therefore the "control" switch for this midi input was enabled in the midi preferences. But I am not able to trigger the clips though the pad leds start to light when they get triggerd by the external controller as long as I am in the hardware tab of the midi control page.

After experimenting and searching for a solution for many hours I have no idea how to solve this. Hopefully somebody in this forum can help me... I am sure there is a solution to fire clips of a clip program with midi commands and in sync with the beat ;-)

All the best,
Christian
