Silent chord mystery

One 4-bar loop in a sequence has just two long chords - but when using Next Seq, on the first play, only the second chord sounds - then when it loops around, the first chord sounds, and is fine thereafter. Any thoughts on why it might be silent on the first play?

The only way I can get it to work is to nudge it 1/64 along the bar. If I try to set it at the start it is silent.

Sounds like the first chord is placed at the very end of the sequence and not at the start, you can check this out in list editor, in grid view or step seq view for example
