Audio track issue!

Hi!
Eventually I,ll figure this all out! But I have another question!
I am actually finishing a song! I converted my song to sequence, so I havhe a long sequence that plays everything. Then I recorded one of my synths to audio track 1. It recorded fine, I added some automation and saved the project before shutting off the MPC. But when I load again my project. The audio track doesn't load and the automation is all gone...

I managed to reload my audio files in the audio track. Recorded new automation, saved again and closed the MPC.

When I load my project again, no audio track, no automation...
AM I doing something wrong? 'cause I guess it's not normal nor useful if your audio doesn't load along the midi data upon project loading.

Hi yeah that'S unfortunate...

Did you try on different projects? Me I just have one complete project so far and now I encountered this issue which makes the mixdown and export a hassle... I was thinking of trying in a different project if it's the same thing...

Hey so somebody helped me fix this problem! SO it appears that when a midi track is named the same as an audio track, it doesn't save properly! I changed the name of my audio track and now it works! Hopefully it also solves your problem!

Sounds odd, but MUST believe you, as I always do this
- Midi-Synth => play along and tweak the knobs... record.
- Recording => same name to keep the two together
Little adjustment to my workflow ....

Just did a test, it is the "MIDI Program" causing the issue.
But it is basically correct - I recorded the two audio lines at the same time:
- Midi Track called "Test"
- Midi Program called "Test"
- Audio 1 is called "Test"
- Audio 2 is called "Test1"

After reopening the project:
- Audio 1 lost its file
- Audio 2 is fine

Corrected the naming of the recorded:
- Midi Program is called now "Test2"
- Audio 1+2 are fine

Thanx again for the tip - it was annoying to keep re-adding the correct file
