Hey guys,

Slight issue..

Was manually removing a stuck floppy disc (so opened up the MPC) removed the floppy, flipped the MPC back around, and did a quick power on to test everything was still "working". To my dismay, moments later, I saw a flash of light and the whole power for the room I was in tripped.

The MPC no longer works. I done the following now:
- Replaced the fuse in the Power Supply Board - DPS-12 (which was looking completely black)
- Replaced the Power Supply Board DPS-12

Both options still result in a dead MPC. My last option it seems could be to try replacing the Power Switch PCB Board with the power button cap which sits under the Power Supply Board - does this seem like a logical potential solution or am I grasping at straws?

Any help or advice would be really appreciated,

Cheers

Double check the mains socket itself is still providing power, you never know, it could of burnt off one of the wires.
