You need to be very familiar with the various forms of saving. I recommend whenever you reach milestones in your project you save a backup copy. You can also save sequences and patterns. That way you'll still have the utility of the undo button. Once you save the project you lose your undo history. That's a major reason I never use autosave, because it can be just as bad as losing a project if it saves an an inopportune time. But like Ultros said , its all in the ram so there is no fishing it out the netherrealm once you lose power.
